Today we went to Solo in the Sony building. We went to the Sony wonder center first and had a great time learning how text messages are transmitted and even hosted a news broadcast as a team, it was really fun. Right next door was the Solo restaurant. It was so pretty and the maitre d' and waitress were so friendly. We had the grilled chicken panini and burger with french fries. The french fries were the best french fries I have ever tasted (salted just right and super crispy). The bread they serve is hot and crusty and spiced just right, it was absolutely DELICIOUS. The panini was also amazing, with the bread grilled just right. The burger was HUGE and a bit dry but at least the french fries were good:) I would definitely recommend this place, even though it's not really meant for kids, it was a very memorable lunch.
What a wonderful expience that must have been! It's been years since I've eaten there. I think you gave me a push to consider going back for a nice dinner. Did you try any dessert? My daughter used to work there as a pastry chef, making those delicious, pretty looking desserts.

ReplyDeleteFries are very good, I also enjoyed the panini,trying to keep those calories down you know what I mean.
